Yogi government gave Rakshabandhan Gift to the state employees.

The UP government has decided to increase the rate of dearness relief from 31 percent to 34 percent from January 1, 2022.

This means that the dearness allowance has been increased by three percent directly.

UP employees will be paid dearness allowance in cash at an increased rate of three per cent from August.

Explain that the Finance Department had sent a file to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath through the Finance Minister for approval of payment of DA and DR at the increased rate to the employees and pensioners.

DA and DR are affected in January and July

Increase in DA of government employees and DR of pensioners is effective from the months of January and July.

The central government had also decided to give DA and DR to its employees and pensioners from January 1, 2022, at the rate of 34 percent instead of 31.

Now after the decision of the UP government, the DA of state employees has increased from 31 to 34 percent.

Decisions in the interest of employees

State President of the State Employees Joint Council, Hari Kishore Tiwari said that this order was to be implemented from January 1, but the decision has been taken in the interest of the employees.

After about 4 months of the central government, the state government has decided to increase the DA.

Lakhs of employees will be benefitted

According to Hari Kishore Tiwari, 12 to 13 lakh state employees including teachers will be benefited by this decision of the Yogi government.

At the same time, he told that our second installment is also coming in July, it is applicable every six months.

First it applies to the central employees and then to the state government employees.

DA rate equal to that of central government

After the decision of the UP government, the dearness allowance has gone up to 34%. Earlier, in March, the central government had also increased the dearness allowance by three per cent from January 1, 2022 and from 31 to 34 per cent.
